Another try at this one

Here are a few assorted shots from late summer 2005.

As always, click on the photos to enlarge them.

Here we are floating away on the Russian River. R was only as brave as the water was warm, which was not so much.

I think it was that the bottom was rocky and it was hard to stand up, because when we are on sand at the beach, he runs right into the very cold surf. Ah kids are strange and hard to figure out.

There was also some very nice sitting in canoes to be done.

N did some great lounging with the help of his mom.

We also played some killer putt putt. R got a hole in one, Daddy took the game far too seriously, and C won! Wow. C beat me at golf. Dammit, I'll get her next time.

The next few shots are from Pt Reyes, Limantour beach where we went with Grandpa Rick.

As you can see, R is the coolest dude ever on the planet.

These shots are of R and N sharing some little ducky crackers. An excellent example of two kids working together to a common goal: The complete devastation of an entire population of l;ittle ducky crackers.

I skipped allot of stones at the beach the first day we were there. But none the second day. Why, you might ask, why no stone skipping the second day? Well, I'll tell you. I threw my arm out so bad I could barely lift it. Ah the joys of arthiritis and aging.

The last two shots are from the Oakland zoo. R loves spiders. Man does he love spiders.
