Dick took some great photos last weekend when we all got away to the Russian River. What a great time we had, although I am reminded that two adults sleeping (a term used loosely) in a small bed with a restless 3.5 year old don't actually get to, you know, sleep.
Here's the whole group besides Dick. As you can see well more than half are in pajamas.
Just for the record, Rey is still cute.
Ok, I admit it. The kids watched TV. They did other things too, but the only time they sat still enough for photos was while they watched TV. They also had a great time playing with and eventually destroying the "Connect Four" vertical checkers games that came with the house. Now that is some fun!

And then on the last day we went to the beach. There were seals and pelicans, and this being on of the most dangerous beaches in California, we played tag with the waves and generally had a good old time dodging the cold grasp of the sea. We got wet feets.
