The Yogurt Series

Rey's SF adventure began Friday the 16th at around 10:30am, when I bundled him into the car

and drove over to the Ashby Bart station. It was Rey's first ride on Bart and I wondered if he would be scared or excited or both. As it turned out, he loved it, but was totally overwhelmed. He sat on my lap for the entire trip, which is totally unusual, just staring out the window.

When we got to SF we got off at Montgomery station and everybody stopped on the long stairs up to watch Rey climb up, he was so cute, but took up allot of room on the stairs. Still everybody stopped to let him go by. I was totally surprised.

We got up to the sidewalk, and Rey was really excited. All the hustle and bustle and everybody tromping down the sidewalk. We walked down to cross 3rd St, and on the other side Rey said "Do you want to run!" and took off running down the sidewalk. Everybody smiled and laughed as he flailed down the sidewalk, arms waving wildly, with me trotting along behind. He would have kept running right past my office, so I had to head him off and turn him in there.

Inside Rey met like thirty people, including my boss and buddy Ed, and my ex boss and buddy Bruce. Lily gave him a little monkey, and Will gave him a Stegasaurus. Rey kept hold of those all day.

Then we went to C's office and met a bunch more people, and Adam gave Rey a little lizard with movable arms, which he also hung onto all day.

Then, C and Rey and I went to Lori's for lunch. We met Bruce and Ed there, and Ed was kind enough to take a few photos. Rey ate so much food I could not believe it. Fried chicken nuggets, an entire orange, tomato slices, a load of yogurt, the orange plate garnish, french fries, and more. Good job Rey!

I'm being entertained by Rey & Parens as I wait for a plane in the Pittsburgh. I love that SF area and world in general is so kid-friendly.

Finally I can see the Wintrompo site, thanks to Richard Ferraro's efforts. Thanks so much. It's like being there with the little boobie.
